I have run into a slight problem mounting my Zeiss Duralyt 1,2-5x36 on my Ruger Hawkeye African.
I´m looking for low rings, but Ruger only make med and high in 30 mm.
Objective diameter is 42 mm and low rings would get it right there where I like to have it.
Any other makers that make low 30 mm rings for Ruger Hawkeye ? ( preferably Quick Detach, matte blued)

It's going to require a better researcher than me. Med and Highs are the common theme I found looking through Talley, Burris, and Leupold.

I got the same result 02Silver, no low 30 mm rings for the M77 range of rifles.
A pity because low mounting of a low mag scope on a hard kicking rifle make better cheek contact with the riflestock and better recoil control imo.
And there is a few low mag scopes with 30 mm tube on the marked today.
Guess I have to go for the medium height then...

I'm running a 1.1-4x24 30mm Kahles on a Ruger #1 in 45-70. The rings are Warne Maxima's in the QD medium height. With the straight tube the scope could be lower. But, I'm not getting smacked with heavy loads.
The mounts are high quality and, once zeroed, stay put.
