Hi, I am looking for a riflescope 3-9 x 40 up to US$ 200.

I've seen the Burris Fullfield II + Spotting Scope, the Bushnell Elite 3200 with or without FireFly and Simmons WTE and AETEC with Ill. Reticle, Nikon Buckmaster, Leup. VX-I or Rifleman

Which of these should be the best for hunting purposes? Shots should be up to 300 yards max. with a .270 Win Ruger MKII.

Has anyone got any experience with Bushnell's Firelfly reticle, is it worth it?

Thanks in advance for your time and help.

Best regards,

Fernando

All of those scopes are in the same ball park when your talking brightness clarity and all other qualities of scopes. The biggest bang for your buck would be the Fullfield II which also offers the free spotter. Its hard to pass up a deal like that. Your not just getting a quality hunting scope but your getting a FREE spotter to boot. If the free spotter isn't a concern to you and just wanted a quality scope I would go with the 3200. It offers the most in a scope out of the choices.

We've opened up one of those Firefly reticles here at the warehouse. It can be an asset or it can be a burden. It would come in handy as it would never run out of bateries......but the flashlight to charge it could die on you. Personally I don't favor it for one reason. Say you're in a situation where you need to throw your gun up real fast and you need that illumination feature immediately. Well your not going to have time to find your flashlight and try to charge the reticle in time.

i have a leupold rifleman 4-12, and love it. those are all great scope choices, so i say flip a coin between the burris, and leupy.

For the money, I think the Fullfield II is a great scope.  My second choice would be the 3200.
