180gr. Swift Scirocco
RL-25
215 Fed Magnum primers

Not sure what the charge weight was. Might have been 94gr, but it's been awhile and I drink on occasion.  Wink

This was my .300 RUM Sendero's favorite food.
IMR 7828 was a decent second, but I've never seen a .300 RUM that didn't love RL-25 and 180gr. pills.

If at first you don't secede...try..try again.

LOL  - yep drinking and reloading now there is a recipe for disaster, but I know a lot of boys who do that.

Haven't reloaded those in a while. Is what I meant. I had forgotten the charge.

I will, i'm not a fan of SMK's as I have not got them to shoot well in my rifles after tons of chances. I finaly sold or gave them all away. Berger has always done well in my rifle as have the accubonds. I'm also going to play with a 168gr berger in the 300RUM just to see what it will do. maybe a close range yote round, lol.

I have had great luck with SMK in other cals(5.56,7.62 both 39 and 51) but they were all semis and all shot moa or better(yea even the 39 out of a ruger)To tell the truth factory ammo runs greatout of my RUM but a new scope(5-20x50 ) has me on a quest for the mile shot at a local club .600 is open to all members with 1000 and the mile by invite only, My 7.62 FNAR is my short range rig(500 or less)and shoots 175 SMK better that I can shoot. After I wear out this barrel I think 338 edge is next for the Sendero with another 4" of barrel. But for now a box of Bergers is my next step.
