Awesome stuff. I will own one of their products at some point (just have to convince the wife to let me save and spend that much on optics )

@cheaptrick, nice USO.. I'm looking for a good 1-8x type military rugged scope for use on my LMT Defender 2000 and maybe to send to the next deployment with my son. I'm looking at all the big names but keep going back to USO, Premier and NightForce. And of course S&B. However, can you tell me with mfg you ould pick in the 1-8x tactical scope and overall tactical scope. Also, if I was to go with say a 5-22x would this be any good at cbq? Also, what would the longest effective range for the LMT (5.56)? TIA!!!

USO SN4S 1-4
USO SN4 1.5-6
USO SN3(S) 1.8-10
All would suit the application your looking at. The 5.56 round has a LOT of range but effective range changes depending on what ammo your using. If your son is going to be using a standard M4 with M855 ball ammo im sure he will also be issued an ACOG which will fit that system. Now for your LMT with say a 1:7 twist you can send 77g SMKs out to 800 very effectively for target shooting and P Dogs etc. A big 5-25 optic would not be suited for CQB at all ... you want true 1x for CQB work. If I was looking for optics to pack around Afghanistan and I was stuck using a 5.56 platform I would get a SN4 with a JNG mill reticle and capped mil turrents.
As for optics dedicated to your LMT - application will determine what you need there. I have a Donut reticle SS 1-4 on a M4 of mine and am very happy with it.
