I get to spend next week in central Missouri, so seeing frost on the ground (~7800 ft) yesterday morning was nice. Technically-speaking, the snow in this picture is in Wyoming, but I was standing in Montana when I took the picture:



Also really liked this view taken below Dunraven Pass in Yellowstone NP in the evening:



And, finally, another griz:



(The last was taken at the limits of my camera's 20X optical zoom at 300 yards so not that great)

Love the pics.
I don't see anything wrong with the last pic., you know how fast Mr. Grizz can cover 300yds.
Life's concerns should be about the 120lb pack your trying to get to the top of the mountain, and not the rock in your boot.
