Hi guys.....new to the forum, but I've been reading it awhile now.   I just ordered a Tikka T3 270 WSM in  SS and laminate.   I am looking for the best scope possible for this gun, but my price range only allows me to reach about $400 or less.   I also would like something in a SS or silver finish, as I think that would look nice with the laminate SS gun.   Also, I want something with a tad more reach than 3x9.  I have been reading good things about the Weaver GS and they offer a 3-10x40 in silver for a reasonable price.  I am also considering a nikon Monarch, if I can find one in my price range.

I would love to have some input from you guys.  Thanks!

Best glass for under $400 is Bushnell Elite 4200.  They have a 2.5-10x40 model that will work well for you.

If you want a holdover reticle for longer shots, then Burris Signature 3-10x40 with Ballistic Plex is the way to go.

If you are trying to spend less money, then Sightron S2 3-9x42 and Weaver Grand Slam 3-10x40 are the best bang for the buck.  Sightron is also available in a 3-12x42 configuration if a little extra magnification in a scope that is not much bigger.

If you search around and get the 110% price guarantee, you can get a Zeiss Conquest 3-9X40 for right at $400.

If you can find the Zeiss Conquest for $400 then I'd say the Zeiss.  The 4200 is a great scope right behind the Zeiss.

We have a few of the 3-9x40 conquest on our sample list for 399.95. They're matte finish though.
