This an old post I found, but I was wondering how everyone felt about the Burris euro diamond??
I'm considering the 2.5-10 for a 270wsm Tikka for mostly whitetails in PA, but occasional trips out west and alaska. I'm also looking at the ziess conquest 3-9 and the 4200 elite. I think I'll like the ballistic plex rectical, but haven't ever actually used anything like it. I'm looking at a $450 max. I believe the ziess has consistant eye relief regardless of magnification which sounds nice, but is it really that big of a deal? Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks |

Kahles, Swarovski and Zeiss have a couple of different scope lines
which are different optically. I'd be cautious about blankly
stating that Zeiss is better than Kahles for example. Kahles CL
seems better than Zeiss Conquest, but Zeiss VM/V is better than any
Kahles I've seen yet and Zeiss Conquest, to my eyes is slightly better
than Kahles American (marginally though).
Anyhow, here is my take on these: Zeiss VM/V Swarovski PH Kahles CL Swarovski American Light Weight Zeiss Conquest Kahles American Hunter Leupold LPS and Burris EuroDiamond Bushnell Elite 4200 Burris Signature Select Leupold VX-III ILya |
