Got a new Savage 16 300WSM with Accustock & Accutrigger....now for the glass. Desicions, decisions !! Dont know if i should go with Ziess and the Rapid-Z or Leupold and custom turrents for my caliber. Would like to be accurate to 600yrds without a whole lot of time making the shot.....any suggestions or experiences with the same?

Welcome jmr! Per this statement ("without a whole lot of time making the shot") I'd vote for the Zeiss Rapid Z.

....not that i want to take real risky shots and be totally unethical.......it's just that i don't want to sit there with a slide rule, calulator, etc., i just want something with ease of use and
i can get comfortable within reasonable practice.......

The Rapid Z would be great for your use. Just spend the time tuning it in.

For what you want, I suggest one of Pride Fowler scopes, likely from the RR600 line-up:
It should match the trajectories of most 180gr loads quite well and be close enough for 200gr as well. ILya

I put the Rapid Z800 4.5-14x44 on my Tikka 300 WSM there is only one more left these were demo scopes that came straight from Zeiss as a demo and were probably used as a display at a trade show of something similar. The one I bought had one light right mark on it as if it had been mounted on some type of stand not mounted to a rifle, It was in essentially perfect condition and carries the lifetime transferable warranty. I have just started working with mine but really like it so far. I can put it on 10X and use line 6 and im just a couple inches low at 600 yds. I zeroed at 200 and what the marks represent changes at different power settings so you will have to work with the scope to know what you get at what power but I'm enjoying mine.
