ARE THE MARCH SCOPES ENOUGH BETTER THAN OTHER SCOPES TO JUSTIFY THE HIGH $$$? WOULD $$ BE BETTER SPENT ON A NIGHTFORCE OR TOP OF THE LINE LEUPOLD?
THANKS

That's a loaded question. I suppose it depends on your wants, needs, budget and definition of "better". To me, no. I'll take a S&B, Zeiss, Swaro or Leica and not complain one bit. BTW, WELCOME to the forum!

I have looked through a March once and that was a moment of clarity....
If I had a "carry-a-lot" long range hunting rig a March FFP would be my first choice 2,5-25x42 and a lot lighter than much of the competitors.

For the most part it is an un-proven design... But it has also come out to rave reviews. If you are more interested in rock solid adjustments, it kind of hard to suggest over a NF. But to my eyes the glass on the NF are so-so. And in my opinion, Loopy has been over-priced for years. When getting into the $2800(March3-24x40 w/ill.) the scopes that come into my personal wants are Premier and Hensoldt!

If it is tourist season, why can't we shoot them?

I wouldn't trade away my Hensoldt, I love it, but I have had the opportunity to look at a couple of March scopes. They are NICE. Glass is superb, an all around good "feel". The ones I touched had target reticles, but in a pinch could be used for just about anything. Don't count March out because they haven't beer around for "very long". The quality of materials and workmanship is obvious and I would bet a lot on quality control. They are as "worth the price" as anything I have seen...

I have tested a couple of March scopes and wrote two articles on the subject. One has already been referenced above.
Here a link to the other: I was sufficiently impressed with the 3-24x42FFP March to have one coming my way out of the first production batch. ILya

So it´s 3-24x42 for the FFP, I guess I can live with that
