This stems from a trip to the range where a "ex military" from un-mentioned branch, was going to "teach" someone "how to" shoot and it ended up in a "too much mirage" and a little "too windy".

Last time I checked you MUST be able to PERFORM in all conditions, no excuses. 

I always leave before I have to be subjected to this ignorance, this time I had to stay to check a new load for key-hole-ing too close to sound barrier causing an instability...

I wish I would have left...

I don't claim to to perform well under those conditions, but unless I need to zero a rifle, I've been trying to get out in the crappiest conditions possible. The last three times at the range were pretty uncomfortable, but helpful. Mirage was minimal at worst hardly present wind was 8-10mph the range was 200yrds, maybe 10mph...

200 yd with a 10 mph full crosswind could create problems with a airsoft, Maybe even with .22 shorts. Hippie
Folks ain't got a sense of humor no more. They don't laugh they just get sore.

Need to follow the rules. Just hard to determine which set of rules to follow
