If you want a 8x32 or a 10x42 what would you choose of these two brands? Both Rebel and Bushnell cost under 150 dollars for both models. Rebel Renegade is Fully Multiciated. Bushnell Excursion is Fully Multi Coated and has PC-3 phase coated lenses. I don't know if the Rebel is phase coated.

Excursion 8x32 is a bit heavier than Rebel , but has a bigger FOV. Both 10x42 models have about similar specifications.

All models cost under 150 dollars. What is best ? Excursion or Rebel? I'am talking about the Excursion not the Excursion EX models that are double bridged.

Personally, I'd want neither one.  Since Redfield is now a Leupold company and Leupold has fantastic customer service and warranty, part of me would go there.  But I'm not sure if the iron clad Leupold servicve goes with the Redfield.  That said, I want phase correction in my binoculars, so that's out.

Bushnell customer service and warranty seems to me, quite frankly, to be bottom of the barrel.  The Excursion is probably the best glass of the two, but the service from Bushnell leaves that out for me.

Know I know this has been a lot of help to you Big Smile.

So why, pray tell, are these two on your short list?  Why the price limit?  Curiosity, need a spare, don't want to spend much or what?  There are a couple of other choices out there, but getting them in Norway may or may not be a problem.

That was the first thing that I thought of as well. Wink

Ok thanks!

Well, those two models are not for me , but for a friend. Personally I would recommend him to spend some more money and buy somthing like a  Bushnell Legend Ultra HD.
