Does anyone know this company? Can one do business with them ?
If this query breaks the rules eg spam or whatever, I apologise in advance and please can a mod delete it. They have excellent prices but I do not want to be scammed.

The fact that they are selling Microsoft operating systems for so cheap leads me to believe it is an illegal site. Microsoft controls the selling price of there OS's. Those look like retail boxes and they are way way cheaper than legit stores. Newegg.com wants $180 where they only want $80. That is screaming illegal to me.

Lifetime warranty and excellent customer service don't mean a thing when your gun fails during a zombie attack.

Also if they are indeed pirated software, you will not be able to get updates and may not even be able to activate it. That will depend upon what brand you are buying as some brands have more controls that way. But you may end up with software that does not work properly.

supertool is right. A whois search on the domain name shows that the site is hosted in Russia:
ns1.bt4bt.ru ns2.bt4bt.ru ns3.bt4bt.ru ns4.bt4bt.ru The prices on everything are too good to be true and if you buy from these guys not only will you assuredly be buying pirated software but you will give them credit card info they would love to have. Edited by jonoMT - April/15/2011 at 11:09 |

The thing I wonder is whether he even knows about this. There is a person by that name at that address and dexknows.com shows him to be over 65 and with a different phone #. The one listed here is a Cleveland, OH area code.

The other thing that raised my concern was that when you click on make payment, then a form appears for one to fill in details etc.
In bold it says: We need to send you a letter to your e-mail to confirm order, we stongly recommend that you turn your spam filter off (or something to that effect). Thats when I went OOOPS, and closed the web down. I had not typed in any of my details. I must say the web is well designed with all Verisign, Microsoft stamps etc in place. I did pick up one spelling error, which also red flagged for me.
