There's a gunshow near by with a Leica 1200 for sale that I am interested in.  It's one of the older square models and I'm not sure what year.  The guy wants $495 for it which I won't go for.  About what would be a "really good" or "great" deal for it?  And, how far can I expect it to range trees and groundhogs or similar things?  I would like to be able to accurately range almost anything or most things out to ~800yds.

I didn't find anything on the older square model. But, the newer ones can be found for around $400 if you search.

Is it the Lieca CRF 1200 or LRF 1200?

Does it look like one of these??

CRF 1200

LRF 1200

Thanks for the quick reply guys.  I figured it wasn't worth it unless I could talk him down to around $350ish, but if I can find a newer model for $400-$450 I'd rather do that.
