How would you rate these 4 illuminated scopes : Burris Four-X 3-12x56 (this is a Euro Diamond with Stormcoat, a rainguard type coating)

Leupold VX-3L 4.5-14x56

Nikon Monarch SFE 2.5-10x56

Sightron SIII 3.5-10x56

Not to complicate matters, but if you are looking at a 56mm illuminated scope I will add too more:

I was looking into the illuminated Meopta.  I was concerned about the illuminated reticle interfering with my "night vision".  I also was planing on this scope being a long term investment.  Having an illuminated reticle would add an additional feature that could need replacement/repair/etc.

The lit Meopta Meostars I've seen had good illumination, with broad intensity settings on the rheostat.  I wouldn't be concerned.  Meopta makes great scopes.

Yes, adding anything electronic to an otherwise mechanical instrument increases the chances you might need repair.  The way I look at it is even if the illumination goes out on you during a hunt, it wouldn't render your scope useless; you'd still have the same as any conventional reticle scope without illumination.  The illumination electronics are pretty simple and reliable, though.
