Im under the assumption that if woman can have 200 shoes for all occasions men should be able to have 400 guns for all occasions since there is 2 pair of shoes to a set we need two rifles right?

I'm on the same wavelength.  Sounds perfectly logical to me.

Me too... but I understood and appreciated the spirit of the analogy.

So next time you buy a new rifle, have those shoes ready just as you're entering the house...just like throwing a steak to a Doberman...but soon they will still come sniffing around.
Reaction time is a factor...

I keep telling her it's a new gun for her. Problem is last time she held me to that. It's been re-stocked and the stock has been cut and fit to her. She now has a really nice Marlin XS7 .243 with a glass bedded thumbhole laminate stock with a Limbsaver pad and a 3-9X40 Viper. Oh well, I guess now I have to ask my wife if I can borrow her .243 when I want to use it.

We measure it with a micrometer, mark it with a crayon, and cut it with a chainsaw.
