Sorry just felt like posting some pictures of our work..
We have been anodizing our own rings bases bipods etc for awhile now also nickel plating... Picture doesnt really do them justice though
Did some new ones last week with Leupold Rifleman rings in a polished dark candy blue that are on the Savage now

Rings on the savage picture doesnt do them justice though
And a set of candy red ones for the Ruger 10 22 with a gold base sorry the pictures suck so bad hard to get a good picture of a candy finish

Haha yes anything but white I can even make them look like black chrome.. And thanks Just got the bipod for the Ruger done its candy red polished silver with gold inner legs

Yea I just dont like being like everyone else with there black scope on black stocks with black bipods I dont fit in to that if its good for everyone else its good for me category.. If thats fine for you guys great but dont be afraid to try and be unique

We havent done it yet but I know we can.. We got a couple sets of rings that im working on for some people right now but when were done ill start on something in that nature...

Are you doing metal finishes commercially or just as a hobby? I've considered doing my own anodizing before, but never really got serious enough to really look into it. Is there much expense involved? I would be interested in hearing about all the various finishes you apply. |

We are starting to sell our work... We can do polished or satin in most colors right now we have the dye for blue red gold green black purple and copper.. Ordering the stuff to do nickel plating also..

Outstanding!
I wonder how some of the big commercial anodizing companies do the anodized photo-realistic finishes like detailed camo patterns, graphics, etc. Not talking about film dip, but actual patterns in Type II and III milspec anodizing. |
