I was wandering if anybody on here has one of these and if so how does it compare to the same size scope in a zeiss conquest or a nikon monarch gold or a meopta I have a wholesale catalog that has some really good prices on the docters  and I have read the whole zeiss jena factory  history story but I would like to hear about a hands on comparison by somebody who has used one in low light/ dusk conditions. I can get a monarch gold for roughly the same price in 2.5-10X56 or the zeiss conquest for about $200 more.

I was asking myself the same question,

that's why i " clik "

I gonna try an answer LOL !!

In my place the Nikon are very popular in kodak line .....

not in the scope, I never try or see one mount on a rifle.

I saw saturday a Docter, but personnaly i found them ruff to manipulate..and in my place they are expensive. more than a zeiss conquest.

And i bought a Zeiss conquest, this a 1 inch tube but..so clear and easy...

i put it on my 270wsm, and VERY easy to adjust....

i think the conquest is the best bet !

its not gonna be easy!

Every 30mm tube Docter that I have seen has been very good.  I have only found a handful.  Of the 1" tube models, one was very bad and the 7-8 others that I have handled they all seemed very good.  I would consider Docter to be above Nikon and the old Meopta.  It is close but not as good the Conquest and the new Meostars seem to be really good scopes.  For the price that that TX closeout king is selling them for, I would probably get one if I wanted it.  One thing to remember is that you are going to have a heck of a time if you ever need warranty work.
