They are quite different towards other porros - very compact and with a nice design. They fit perfectly in your hands and the optics are great. You get a lot for your money - compare them to Steiner porros. The MINOX are waterproof and are the only one with total internal focussing - no moving eyepieces anymore.
I bought the BD 8x44 BP and would do it again.
