Just an idea of what we work in here in the lumber yard at times. Most of the time it isn't quite this bad, but usually lots of snow every year.  Today we had wind too.  Probably only snowed 10" or so, but we had 3 foot drifts we were busting with the forklifts.  Was actually kinda fun.

Hectic...I would use that lumber for a nice cosy fire.

+1   I like extremes in the weather. One of the reasons I enoyed working outside.  When it's REAL COLD you know you'll be wishing for some of it when it's REAL HOT.

Haha, nice one Koshkin.  Great view and seeing a runway makes me want to fly.  Although, I will take my cold snowy weather.  I don't do very well in hot weather. As 300 stated, when it is hot, I wish for a snow storm.  I too have fun in extreme conditions.  Helps that I have the gear for it, so I can work for about 6 to 10 hours at -20 before I need to go in usually. Depends on wind and what I am doing.

I am known for that.

I was just trying to tell helo, that he is not the only one facing extreme weather conditions.  Just the other day here, it got so cold that I was distinctly uncomfortable going to work with shorts and slippers.

On top of that, all the local girls had to switch to their winter bikinis when going to the beach.

Opinion,untempered by fact,is ignorance.

There are some who do not fear death... for they are more afraid of not really living

Snow and cold is fun in short burst. It would be hard to live there all the time. By Monday we should be in the 70's  Montana and Minnesota will still be frozen, LMAO

That day I drove down there to ski at Bridger. While I was trying to spot my friend from the lifts in the driving snow, I rode up with a lady who had to be as as pretty as those Cali girls. At least that was the impression I got from being able to see the tip of her nose under her goggles and factoring in the overall thickness of her layers of clothing.
Reaction time is a factor...
