This information comes from jan. 2011 edition of rifle by Ron Spomer:
sako: looks like sayco and everybody i know says it that way. its sawco
leupold: most of us call it leeuhpold,in fact mr. leupold changed the pronunciation during wwI to loopold.
nikon: we say nighkahn, it was supposed to be nickahn.
franchi: im probably not alone here, i call it franchee, but its franky.
oehler: i called it oler for years, its actually ailer.
vihtavouri: the finns around here would laugh at me for this one, veetavorey.
lapua: we all say lapooa, the finns say lah pwa.
kahles: not kaylees, its kah-less, like a bostonian without a car.
barsness: bars-ness, not barnsess
hodgdon: hodge-done, not hog-done
heckler & koch, heckler and cock
perazzi: purr-aht-zee
steyr: sty er
krieger: kree-ger, not kray-ger or cry-ger

anyways that a short list of stuff ron came up with
They call me "Boots"
375H&H Mag: Yeah, it kills stuff "extra dead"

343 we will never forget

God Bless Chris Ledoux

Minox = "Men-ox" instead of "Mine-ox"
Leica = "Like-ah" instead of "Leak-ah" (synthesis of the words "Leitz" and "Camera")
Hornady = "Horn- a-dee."  I often here "day" pronounced at the end, and there's no "a."

I have had HK's for over thirty years and it has always been "Coke". I don't know where Mr. Spomer has been.

I think it's pronounced "Kah - less."

At least that's how their rep at SHOT pronounced it.
