I'm sorry but I'm not a home right now.   I'm  at the Doctor's getting my Prostate checked!

Please leave a message and I'll get back to you as soon as I remember I have an Answering Machine and bother to check it.

Oh boy!!!    Bucky

I remember going to the drug store and bringing a TV or radio tube with you and sticking it in the Tube Testing Machine to see if it was no good.  If it was bad you took it to the man behind the counter and he would sell you a new one.  Then you took it home and stuck it into the correct place in the radio or TV.

The radio and the TV took thirty seconds to 'warm up' before they came on.  Same with the car radio.  If an airplane went overhead, it messed up your TV reception until he got farther away.

I remember wooden phone booths that had a wooden door on it.  When you closed the door, the overhead light went on.  So you could see to dial the phone.

I remember mimeograph machines.

I remember 6 volt car batteries that were located under the floorboard in the front seat.

I remember being ten years old and going into and store and buying bullets for my .22.  Every gas station in America sold ammunition.

Roll on Floor Laughing

I remember when only Popeye had tattoos.

You played with firecrackers year round. Not the ladyfingers of today but real firecrackers ...Ash-cans, Cherry bombs, Torpedoes, M-80s. You could buy Dynamite at any hardware store. 1/4 stick hung off the clothes line made a big noise. Fishing with a cane-pole using larvae from a wasp nest that you knocked off the end of the house with a rubber ball.
Kids today sure miss a lot of fun.
Folks ain't got a sense of humor no more. They don't laugh they just get sore.

Need to follow the rules. Just hard to determine which set of rules to follow
Now the rules have changed again.

I'm sure you guys also remember setting the points in your distributer. Or setting up a pair in a dual-point unit.
