I can't decide which scope to get for a 22-250 primarly used for target shooting and/or late evening coyote hunting. I have narrowed my selection down to either the Bushnell Elite 3200 4-12x40 or Burris Fullfield II 4.5-14x42. Which of the 2 would be the best optically?

FFII, fully-multi-coated vs multi-coated.

Fullfield II is a better scope than Elite 3200.
For similar money you can also look at Sightron S2 3-12x42 and Nikon Buckmaster 4.5-14x40.

I did happen to notice the refurb'ed Buckmaster 4.5-14x40 on the sample page. But I just wonder about the brightness of the thing as it seems really small on the objective end.
The Mueller sportdot 4-16x50 also looked pretty good too. Edited by TXBoy |

I agree with the statement that the FullField is better (brighter) than the Bushnell 3200. I'd check out the new Bruckmaster the older (last year version claimed 88% light transmition about the same as the Bushnell 3200) the new claims 92% so in theory it should be a brighter scope.
I have the Mueller on my .17HMR and it is good but I'd say not quite as good as A Burris Fullfield and I personally want a smaller objective. |

The new one has the side focus right? The one I found was a buckmaster 4-12x50mm w/ side focus.
