Ok I decided I am going to get the Henry classic 22 lever action rifle. I really wanted to put a Leupold 2-7x28 rimfire.
http://swfa.com/Leupold-2-7x28-VX-I-Rimfire-Riflescope-P3260.aspx Just how well do 22 rings hold? I have no experience with 22 style rings so what would be the best ones? My main concern is the height. if you look on this web page about 1/3 of the way down you will see their mount on receiver. I really want my scope to be as close as possible but the rear sight is right there sticking up. If it was not for the rear sight I am almost positive low mounts would work but with the rear sight being there i think the objective bell would hit it. http://www.henryrepeating.com/rifle-lever-action.cfm |
