Made it to Louisiana and settled in to a house, and just got our internet turned on and our furniture comes tomorrow. Still waiting for a refund since I bought a new front load washer that the cold water gate wouldn't stop water when you turned the water on. So far off to a little struggle of getting settled into our first house (we've only done apartments), and need a lot more stuff for the house. Good thing is the house is one of the nicest we found in our price range, but the owner comes back from Afghanistan in October, so we will be looking again. I do get to grow a beard and wear 5.11 clothes for the next to years at work.

OH its good to be back on the OT.

Glad your back Mike, what enjoy most about living in a house in lieu of an apartment is having a garage and a yard, especially when the wife isn't having a good day.Wink

    WelcomeBACK!!!!!!!

I wouldn't worry too much about getting more stuff for the house. Seems it grows on it's own and the next thing you know your out of room.

Truck repairs went as smoothly as I could of hoped. Apparently my insurance company wanted me to take it to one of their approved collision repair shops so that they could install USED parts. I took it to one that was recommended to me by family, and they actually replaced the front bumper, front bumper fascia (2002 Dodge Ram) front left bumper plate(steel part) headlight, fender liner and fender. All brand new parts. The other collision place were going to try and smooth out the dent in the fender. All new parts was only $400 more than used, which was well worth it for me. They even took my other headlight out, buffed out the headlight cover, and replaced the old bulbs with new ones. Washed and waxed the truck, and vacuumed out the inside, and put a scent in my truck. Now thats customer service!

I took a truck in for body work once, they left a scent in my truck too, wasn't the same as what you got though. I think the guy musta have had tacos from a dumpster from lunch before he worked on it. Big Grin
