i've been thinking that i might want something a little higher power for my 300 WSM so it looks like im going to be spending a little more money then i was expecting. So ive increased my budget to $500 and im looking for a scope with atleast 12x. The scopes that im looking at now are the Monox 3-15. and Vortex Viper HS 4-16 which im pretty sure isnt coming out untill summer if ive read corectly. i would still love to get a conquest but its out of my price range for the 4.5-14. So any ideas anyone?
Thanks

I would take a good look at the Burris 4.5-14.... that was a great scope at its regular price, the sale on them now, makes it an awesome scope IMHO http://swfa.com/Burris-45-14x42-Fullfield-II-Rifle-Scope-P3584.aspx

Try looking around for some of the sales on the bushnell elite series scopes, I got a 6x24-50 elite 4500 for under $500 and it is one heck of a scope for the price.
Sorry since this forum is owned by SWFA, I am not going to directly tell you where, and they were limited in quantity. |

I think a burris FF2 4.5-14 would work great. I have used one for night coyote hunting and target shooting, it works great for the price.

Avoid the Minox 3-15x42. The fast focus eye piece has too much play. At least the two I received did.
