Hey guys I have a chance to get any viper i want for $250 (older style). I will be using it for mostly just deer and yotes. Usually the closest shot i get is a 100 yards but sometimes we get lucky. im just wondering what power should i get out of these:

A.  Vortex Optics_Viper_3.5-10x50 Dead Hold BDC

B. Vortex Optics_Viper_4-12x40 PA Dead Hold BDC

C. Vortex Optics_Viper_6.5-20x44 PA Dead Hold BDC
D. Vortex Optics_Viper_6.5-20x50 PA Dead Hold BDC

Im really thinking the 4-12x40 but what do you guys think?

I'd pick D Vortex Optics_Viper_6.5-20x50 PA Dead Hold BDC.   I hunt quite often with a fixed 6x scope and it works for me because I typically set up my shots for two hundred yards. The upper range of the scope being 20x can be used as a spotting scope on the range and to use to look at the rack of the deer to see which ones you dont want to shoot.  This is the more expensive of the scopes in this line and is one model they intend to keep in production where the one inch tube scopes may not be kept in production.  My preference would be a 4-16 power scope but they have not released that one yet.  The other thing is the style of knobs appears quite different and the 6.5--20 should be finger adjustable to dial in correction.

I traded my 'B' for SVT's 'C'  Both are great but with my older tired eyes, 'C' is the way to go!  SVT loves the 'B'

3-9x40 Viper with a V-Plex has served me well for both deer and yotes. I wish i had the 4-12 though for some longer range target shooting.
