I'm looking for a scope that can shoot out to 600 yards. I would like it to be 50mm, one inch tube, mil dot looking to be $500.00 or less. I would like to be able to shoot to 600 yards.

My  AR - 15's will shoot 600 yds with open sights.  What we need to know is how you plan on using the rifle - is it a hunting rifle or a benchrest gun or possiblly a long range varmit rig because the answer to what scope is correct is way different.  Also I can not imagine why you would specify a one inch tube when a 30mm tube allows a scope to have more internal adjustment - one inch + long range = bad choice.   30mm + long range = good choice.
Personally I like the 3-9x42 Super Sniper for an all around scope for the AR-15 or M16A4 platform because it was designed around that platform specifically.  If however you are wanting to shoot varmits you probably want more magnification and there again my suggestion will be over your price range I would use the Sightron SIII  6-24x50

But if you have to have a one inch tube here is the deal of a lifetime:

Either one will work for shooting paper. The difference you will see is fairly minor the difference between 6x and 6.5 on the low end and the difference between 20x and 24x on the high end so not a major difference the Viper is a good optic I have one of their 2-7 scopes and like it a lot.
P.S. we dont post links to other retailers for products that SWFA sells,  since SWFA makes this forum available to us, besides SWFA has a low price guarantee.

Vortex  Viper 6.5-20x50    ---   68 moa of internal adjustment
Sightron SIII 6-24x50       ---  100 moa of internal adjustment
Burris FFII 6.5-20x50        ---   30 moa of internal adjustmentThumbs Down

remember  half of that internal adjustment is above and half below your 100 yd zero in a perfect world but we often find that  adjustment is not at the center of the scopes adjustment.  If it was at the center half of 30 moa is 15moa or 15 inches up from X at 100.
