Hello everyone,
I'm in the market for a scope under $1500 internet pricing which I can use both for long range accuracy and occasional wild boar hunting.  I'm looking to mate it with either a 700 long range tactical or 700 varmint series.  Perferably adjustable and atleast 50MM.  Please provide links with any suggestions (if possible)...
Thank you in advance!  Merry Christmas!

Welcome to OT!  I'd take a look at this one.. http://swfa.com/Burris-3-12x50-Xtreme-Tactical-XTR-30mm-Rifle-Scope-P10978.aspx. Burris has alot of good close out deals right now, check them out on SWFA!

Thanks for the suggestion.... how does the Burris compare to a Leopold Mark 4 LR tactical?

You get better value for your money with the burris, with the leupold, you get better aftermarket service. Disregarding price, quality wise, leupold would probably have the edge, dependability and durability under normal field use is probably the same. For optics, both are clear, bright, and have very good contrast and resolution. Whatever differences in image is up to you to decide which one you like. Smile
