I recently got a CMR scope and I want to put a killflash on it.  Problem is, the end isn't threaded for one.  I'd prefer not to get one that fits into a lens cap because I'd like to run it w/o a front cap.

My question is;  Is there such a thing as a 30mm killflash that seats into the front of the scope tube by friction?  I've searched pretty hard and came up empty.
They made a book out of that movie?

Leupold had some
If all else fails use some green mil duct tape to hole it on, or cut a rectangular horizontal hole in the front of a Butler creek flip up.

That's exactly what I'm talking about but it's for 40mm and they don't have one in 30mm.  Thanks for the response though.  At least that lets me know that a 'pop-in' killflash exists.

If it is that important, one can be made easily. And cheap.

It's not terribly important, I just prefer using them since they protect the front lens and cut down on glare.  I would be interested in making one if you can point me in the right direction.

They cut down a lot of image quality as well.  Make your image look darker.  If you just need to cut down on glare get a longer sunshade as that will help some.  Or get better optics.

I honestly don't see the point in using a kill flash unless a person was in combat.  But that is just me.
