 - '87 model Vari-X III 3.5-10AO. Gloss finish. I bought it used in '88. No box but do have the manual.
 - Sent to Leupold in Feb of of '07 for a tight AO ring. It was fixed and the scope checked out good. I
have the paperwork. Scope has not been mounted since.
 - Lenses are perfect. Comes w/BC covers that have been on the scope since I bought it.
 - No burred adjustment slots.
 - Weaver ring marks on rear of tube along with two small spots on front of tube which were there
when I bought it. One pic of the worst one.
 - A few scratches at one spot on the objective bell from a fall I took. No dents anywhere.
 - Also includes a Leupold 2" sunshade w/box.

Scope was used but not abused for the better part of 20yrs.  NEVER failed me.

THANKS,G.  It's a GOOD scope with ALOT of sentimetal value for me.  BUT I need a decent low light compact binocular more.  My 8x25 Nikon let me down this year.  So I'm wheeling and dealing to get a 6x32 Viper.

If I can sell this scope, and along with some money I got credited to my account,I'm good to go on the Viper.  ILya says out of all binocs he's got he uses his Viper 6x32's the most.  He's got a real positive review, along with a great commentary from Ted,on his web site that says it all.

I shouldn't have said they let me down.  I just asked too much of them.  8x and 25mm don't work the best in LOW light.  They've been a heck of a good binoc. Almost always around my neck when I'm hunting whether in thick or open terrain. I'd highly recommend them to someone looking for a good low priced compact binoc.
