I bought my son and I the H & R Ultra Slug Gun and then bought the NIKON SLUGHUNTER SCOPE. My question can someone tell me what scoperings to use with this combo. I dont want to buy rings and find otu I cant pull back the trigger or something like that. Hopeing you H & R owners out there can help me. Thanks in advance.

I have that same gun but with a sightron 3-9x40 (might be a 44). You need to get medium to high rings. Measure the vertical distance from the top of the scope rail to the top of the trigger. Whatever that distance is make sure the rings give you enough height to clear the eypiece on the scope. I think mediums will work.

Thanks for the advice, I tried Med but they hit. I will remeasure and see what to try next
