Supposed to be leaving Washington State on Friday for Louisiana, movers packing up the house now, and be damned if I don't wreck my truck pulling out of my carport and mess up the driver front side. Luckily everything but the blinker works, now just have to find a body shop in Oklahoma. When it rains, it pours...

The moving company failed to give the actual movers packing materials, because they say all our stuff was in the warehouse for pickup, and they just needed to get my tv. Well they needed to get to uhaul to get some packing materials, and since they are in an 18-wheeler, I offered to take one in my truck to the uhaul. I have two parking spots and only park in one, but was parked in the other for them to back their truck up to my apartment to load. They ended up parking behind my truck, and when I was looking backwards to make sure I cleared their truck, I hit the pillar that holds up the carport, because I'm not used to one being there from my original parking spot. Lifted the bumper plate up, punctured the bumber, dented in my quarter panel, and ripped the headlight out a little on the outside. Ugh.

Yeah my wife and I laughed at the fact that at least it isn't the new vehicle that we were looking at getting in the next year. I talked to my father-in-law, and he is going to call some guys he knows down in Oklahoma, since I won't have time to get it done up here. Yeah, I ahve USAA, which has been absolutely great. I had hail damage twice, same month one year later, and they had an adjuster out to my area within 24 hours. Now its just sucking up the $500 deductible, which isn't going to hurt toooo bad...

This is very true.....The sad thing is I'm telling the guys at work that I got hit in the parking lot of a restaurant while eating, and they drove off so my buddies don't make fun of me, how bad is that? LOL

It has to be white though, because the paint on my truck from the pole is white, and the mail trucks aren't tall enough
