I'd be pretty anxious also, let us know what you think!

Considering the same thing.  I am all screwed up.  I am seriously wanting to buy a nice scope.  My two best scopes right now are a Conquest 3-9 and a SS 10HD.  I want a good scope but can't make up my mind.  Going to stay under 1500.00.  The Leica seems to be one of the best options right now but I am all hosed over the reticles and 2.5 or 3.5 version.

I could also buy a SS 3-9 for the Grendel and a Accupoint for the A-Bolt 270 for the same money.  I use the A-Bolt for hunting.  I could also put the Conquest back on it (Leupold 3-9 x 33 Ultralight on it now), get a SS 3-9 for the Grendel like I originally planned and buy another rifle for the Conquest.  See the problem! Now the Leica deal showed up about the time I sold my KTM 950 so if ever a time to buy a higher end optic...

I want low light equivilent of at my 8x43 Zen Ray ED's or better.

The Leica deal is without a doubt great for anyone wanting a high end scope for a big discount.  That said.  SS and the Accupoints are both sweet scopes.  Both have better glass than most would think for their price.  I just got rid of my Grendel but had a 3-9 SS on it, it is a great combination but some like higher power than 9X, I don't think it was needed being 99% of my shooting is less than 500yds.  The accupoint is a great scope that most will argue is the best hunting scope w/ illumination for less than a grand.  I'd have to agree.    One thing that normally will become a factor once you buy Alpha level glass is you will find yourself wanting to get all Alpha level scopes and you will not always be happy with less.  Hence why I stick to mid to high level scopes, my budget.  If I was in your shoes I'd be getting the Trijicon and SS and another gunWink

Seeing as the Leica scope saved my mule deer hunt taking a 375 yard shot in the last 5 mins of daylight it wouldn't be fair for me to give you my opinion.

BUY THE LEICA! But don't get the reticle with the dots in it. CDD I believe it is called.

Chris,

I read my butt off about the Leica including your hunt.  Read all over here, Koshkins, Snipers Hide and others, probably going to buy a 2.5 with the Ballistic Reticle.

Thanks for the input.
