This is my remington .308win. Its not a custom but an upgraded rifle. I took and added a Bell and carlson A2 varmint stock, wyatts drop mag and floor plate system. It has a super sniper 3x9 with burris XTR rings , egw 20mao rail and a vortex anti can't level. I have worked the Xmark trigger down to 1 1/2 pounds of clean creep free pull. I have also hand lapped the factory barrel. I took this rifle out for a short walk this saturday. 100 yrd zero and 3 shots at 300, then back to hunting. the 100 zero was pretty simple. 4 shots and a few moves to the left and hitting pay dirt. The 300 yard shot was a little bit scetchy at first. I have not really test my new drop charts and chronoed this load. 3 shots @300 to hits. The first hit high made adjustments the next 2 were dead on. here are some pics of the rifle and my 2, 300 yard targets.

Still loving that stock?  Didn't know how it worked for you once you got to put some trigger time on it vs just dry fires.

Im a real big fan of the B&C stocks. They are of very good quality and aren't quite as expensive as the McMillan's and others of the same price range. And i personally don't think those that are twice as expensive are that much better, but that's just personal experience.

It works pretty good. they way it is set up I can see it with my left eye if i open it while looking thru the scope. I did shoot with both eyes open but now I shoot just loooking thru the scope. If not I see it. so it take a bit to get use to. the sight picture blends with it.

Is it made pretty tough. I was always curious how they would hold up especially in transport if he got knocked on the side.

I beat it around pretty good saturday to see if the bubble would split. it did but bounced right back about as fast as it split. The little recoil didn't bother it at all.

I got a 5 round and a 10 round mag. So far it been pretty tough stuff. well built. It also worked out where I didn't have to trim any on the stock, all bolted right up.
