New guy here. I've been lurking for some time now, been wanting to scope my M1A for a couple of years because of older eye syndrome.Big Smile Thanks to the wealth of knowledge on this board, among  others, I finally got it done. I went with a Bassett Machine low picatinny mount, and a SS6X42 scope and Vortex low tactical rings. Looking forward to hitting the range.
Regards, Rick

Will give a range report, hopefully soon, csacpt. Still looking at cheek rests, I have considered Karstens, but I will only need about an inch at the most with my set up, and not too sure I want to drill my stock. I've got three stocks for it and it would be handy to be able to swap the rest out between them. Considering something like this http://coyotem1a.com/ or for now just some padding and 100 mph tape.
Regards
