Gotta love the mindset of those stoner hippies...."oh if we outlaw guns, all peace and harmony will come truuuuue!". Really, you mean like how you stoners get the pot you smoke even though it's illegal? Wink

Liberals just outlaw and dismiss what they don't understand. And that's why i can't stand em. I feel sorry for those of you in California screwed over by hardcore libs.

It probably all started with the Moscone/Milk assassinations, escalated with the Reagan assassination attempt, and end with 101 California St. shootings. All were in or had Kali ties. Gun laws have never been the same here since.

I'm getting my wife a Christmas present....Walther PK380. Just big enough to do damage if need be and not overly snappy for her first pistol. Seems like a solid combo.

Plus it gets another gun in the collection....Wink

But we were talking and she wants to get into competition shooting. She's actually pretty good with the AR for never having shot guns before, so i think there is some potential there. She handles the large guns really well for a woman.

I have several pistols, I carry a 45acp Kimber Ultra CDP II and have a CCP...Ive carried since I was about 18 and never anything smaller than a S&W model 19 38spl/357 mag.  After reading this thread Im seriously thinking of buying another 357 5 shot revolver as both my Kimbers is to really to bulky for carry in summer..........

My carry gun for lower 48 is a 357 mag Ruger, in Alaska I carry a 454 Ruger Alaskan. Why be under gunned if you have the option, no one has ever said I wish I had a smaller caliber to shoot an assailant or a bear.

I'm looking really hard at these 2 as my next 2 pistols.

I've got several 9's and a few wheel guns .41-.22 but usually just carry a .38 derringer in my pocket.

If God didn't want me to play with it, he'd of made my arms shorter.

I had one in 380 I carried for awhile as a "bug"... nice little pistol and quite reliable with fmj and fiochi h.p.

For personal carry, a 1911 45acp.  I can't find another gun that feels that good and natural.

For carrying in bear country (grizzlies around here) I would like a 454 Casull.  Freedom Arms if I could afford it, but probably would go with the Ruger Super Redhawk right now.
