I'm not a HUGE fan of the color, but I also don't dislike it. I wouldn't have chose that exact color for the stock, but I got a good deal on it.

lol  You could always adjust the factory X-pro trigger a little see if you could make it better for the time being.

Its not a easy task but you can have it @ 1.5 to 2 pounds and a crisp/smooth pull. It took me a few minutes to figure them out but they are nice triggers if you know what to do and what to polish and such.

There the best names. I have had rifles with both and rifle basics (sp). I just think the remmy X mark is a way under rated trigger. I have liked all the ones I have on my rifles. I'm not again one or the other I just know the potential the Xmark is hiding.

Well I plan on going with a Jewell for now and yes the Xmark is a very good trigger.

Good looking setup.  I have an HS Precision on my 22-250 and like it.  I lightened the trigger pull on mine.  It is a Rem 700 VSF.  Bought it in 2007 or maybe early 2008.  Don't know which trigger it is other than the stock, but after playing with it, I got it lightened and a nice crisp pull.

You setup looks great!

Chris, have you looked at the Timney 510 trigger also?

Yes, I was asking Brandon about them yesterday. I have heard good things about them. I just personally dont have any experience with the Timney.
