I wasn't meaning you were being defiant at all.  I just meant my info was incorrect so no need to worry about it.  Howdy

I have and use quite a few of the nikon monarch ucc ( ultra clear coat ) scopes. I also do ALOT of hog control hunts at night, and IMHO for the type of hunting/shooting you will be doing and the price you wish to stay around, you are going to be hard pressed to beat that nikon. just my .02 worth!

To the OP---I have a Viper 4-12 x40 ans like it. It doesn't lose much to my Zeiss Conquest, and that cost me $450 at the time I purchased it. Conquests are now $400.

To the OpticMasters---how does the Viper compare to that Nitrex made by Weaver??????? I too know where it is cheaper than SWFA so I could get the price match. ----BBoy623
I'd rather be judged by 12 than carried by 6!

SWFA no longer carries the Nitrex brand.  No price match happening.  If you want the Nitrex you'd have to get it elsewhere.
Adam, I have the Nitrex and will be home this weekend and plan on doing a bit of shooting both Friday and Saturday.  Call me if you want to come down and check it out.  I have to sight in 5 guns so Its gonna take a while.
