I just purchased a new trijicon accupoint 3-9x40 with the post with green triangle. I'm seeking some advice on sighting the gun in. I have it mounted on a Remington 700 30-06. I'm just used to the normal cross hairs and was curious to see if anyone had some tips on sighting it in.

Sight in using the tip of the triangle as your aiming point.

Having used that reticle extensively, I would recommend you tell us at what you will be shooting, and at what range?

Tip of the reticle is the point of impact things closer than your sight in distance will be above it and things farther will be below it.  Up close you will find you use the whole illuminated area as an aiming point and at distance you will work off of the point.

Sounds like a great set-up. Good luck.
