Me and the wife drove down from Michigan for the LaRue Tactical Range Day. Pictures that I took; http://picasaweb.google.com/snakeman48/LTRangeDay2010# 1225 miles down, and 1402 miles back. Made a detour in Tennessee to visit Jack Daniel's Pictures from the JD Distillery and Lynchburg http://picasaweb.google.com/snakeman48/JackDanielS2010# |

Snakeman I think we might be kin. Like you I have small wrists and good sized pie grabbers. No way we're getting out of cuffs.

To me and the wife, it was worth the trip. We listened to Vince Flynn audio books, and the miles just melted away. Had a blast, food, ammo, guns, all on LaRue's dime. We talked a bit with him towards the end of the day, just before I got my picture with him. Very easy to talk to, and very down to earth. Met his wife and oldest daughter earlier in the day, and they are the same way. Mrs. LaRue even took our pictures when we stopped at the shop on the way to the range. The whole event ran smooth, no problems with people getting along. The Sheriff's Deputy I spoke with was estimating over 3000 people came. |
