Hi
Glade I have found this forum. I have just purchased a new rifle, Sako 85 hunter laminated in 6.5x55. And thinking about the following scopes. Are they any good? Meopta meostar 3-12x40 Meopta meostar 4-16x44 KAPS 2-8X42 Does anyone has any experience with these scopes. I am curious about the Kaps, it is made in Germany and they are an unknown quantity to me.You can view it on this link. <competitor link snipped> kind regards villihun Edited by koshkin - October/13/2010 at 13:54 |

Villi is from Australia so doubt either SWFA or the other site can export to him anyway.

Kaps makes pretty good scopes, but they do not really have a US distributor, so there aren't all that many of them seen on these shores.
I inspected a couple of their tactical models a while back and was impressed with overall build quality and optics, but the knobs were not as good as I would have liked. ILya
