I currently use these above rings on my SS 16. I have always wondered how close it returns to zero. Yesterday at the farm was my perfect opportunity. Since it is getting close to rifle season, I pulled out my variable scope to zero and get on paper. It also sports ARMS but in the 22M. After zeroing I put the SS back on to have some fun. The wind was left to right at 3 to 5 mph and I shot my 100 yard group. I was dead on in elevation and about 1/2 moa to the right of bull. So, I would say they work. |

I like the La Rue mounts better they are about as tough as you can get. GG&G mounts have worked well for me also.

Was you one of those that broke your ARMS mount on purpose? So then Larue would give you one of his mounts for free? From the looks of your pic being in a vice and all I would say that was the case. I jumped on the band wagon and did the same thing and got free LaRue rings. I will say however it took a ton of force to break mine. I had to put mine in a vice and really really crank on them to get them to break. I don't see how that kind of force would ever be applied during use. I think ARMS stuff is pretty dang tough. I ran mine for 5 or 6 years and never had a problem with them. Good quality stuff IMO.

Lifetime warranty and excellent customer service don't mean a thing when your gun fails during a zombie attack.
