I purchased a SuperSniper SS10X42M from SWFA a couple years ago and couldn't be any more pleased with it.  I'm no expert, but these scopes seem like the absolute best bang-for-the-buck out of the tactical scopes available today.

My questions are directed to SWFA and military users with SuperSniper scopes.  With "SS" I will be referring to SuperSniper.

Which American branches of service have evaluated the SS scopes, and what weapons have they been evaluated on?
What branches of service currently employ the SS scopes, and again on what weapons?  What military specialties or roles are issued SS scopes?
How much freedom are snipers or designated marksmen given to make personal choices with regards to tactical optics?
Have any of the SS models been issued an NSN?

As a patriot I want to see our soldiers get the right hardware; as a taxpayer I want to see my government getting a good deal; and as a military history afficionado I just want to know.

Thanks!

They've been evaluated by the Army, Navy and Marine Corp.  They were issued a NSN # for a Navy contract.  We currently sell them to the Army in large numbers for their M14's.  We sell them in smaller numbers to Army and Marines for everything from .50 BMG to M24's to M16's.

I'm not sure how much freedom snipers or designated marksmen are given to make personal choices.
