I have a savage 110 pre-accutrigger in 30-06. I am going to mount a Vortex Viper 2-7x32 on it using the EGW picatinny rail. Which rings would work best for this setup? Can I get away with low rings?

I would think you could get away with lows, I would call SWFA and ask just to make sure before I ordered them though. As far as ring brands, I like TPS as the best bang for you buck rings right now. That said Vortex actually has some rings that I am gonna try next. Look like they are pretty good.

Talley lightweight aluminum rings specifically for the 110. The ring and base are one piece. I have them on my 110 .30-06. They are great.

I just got some super lows for a 50 Viper using an EGW base and it works perfect. You will want lows or super lows if you can get them.< id="smartswipe_doc_changed__id" style="display: none ! imant;" smartswipe_uniqid="1b63abce-f94b-415f-a172-c3a506bbedb2">

A 0 MOA would actually bring the bell a little higher, as it would tip the scope down on the back.

I don't know what rings would be best.
Seems like Leupold PRW or cross-slot, or any Burris rings, would work fine. |
