Can anyone comment on how the Newcon Optik 1200 or 1500 compares to the Leica 1200 as far as ranging and glass?

Are the Newcon's so new that no one has experience with them, or are they not even in the same league as Leica?
The price is close to Leica's, however Newcon shows 1200, 1500, and 2000 LRF's.
So what say you?

I got about 5 minutes to play with a Newcon unit. I didn't really get to range anything over about 500 yards, but I know my Leica will range things out to 1200 yds all day long. And the Newcon glass isn't in the same league as the Leica from what I remember.
