With all my braked specialty pistols, I use double hearing protection when not hunting, and hearing protection when hunting.
I would not shoot it without hearing protection though.

He does, but it is not working right now.
He told me yesterday that there was a problem and it was being worked on.
Best thing to do is give him a call.
I guess the smallest rifle I have seen that he has built recently is a 20-47 Lapua rifle, and then he just recently finished a couple of 375 Chey-Tac's.

Again, very nice, Ernie!

Kelbly rings?

Stainless colored Cerakote on the metal?

What reticle in the NF 8-32X56?
Ted

Dale,
The scope has not been modified to a longer eye relief.
Just a 8-32 NXS with the NP-DD reticle
