Whats the general opinion on tires out there?  I've got a set of Bridgestone Duelers that came on the truck that I CANNOT stand.  They have cupped so bad they sound like a have a huge  set of mudders on it.  Still got at least a good 10k miles left on them so I'm starting to shop early.  I have had a set of Michelin LTX's in the passed and they performed flawlessly.  However they are a tad hard, which is why I got 90k out of them.

I've had great luck with Nitto tires on both my 3/4 ton and the wifes Suv.  I've had nothing but cupping problems with Goodyears.  Michelin and Bfg's are great, but alittle pricey in my opinion.
A buddy of mine who owns a service station loves Firestones, he says that since the Firestone fiasco a few years ago that they are building a fantastic tire to compensate for their previous disaster.

Scoot, their not Bridgestone Dueler A/T Revo's are they? I'm running BF Goodrich A/T's on my X but have been looking at maybe getting the Revo's for a few years now.

Pretty good site for info: http://www.tirerack.com/

Hankook is the 8th largest tire manufacturer in the world, just thought this was informative because many people have never heard of them. Good tire.

Hankook Dyna pro ATM 10 ply's on my Land Rover.  I replaced the Factory Michelin tires with Pirelli Scorpions and liked them except on wet roads. The Dyna Pros replaced the Pirellis and I'll buy another set when they go. 25k miles on them now and they still have a ton of tread left.

Thanks for the quick reply!!! The Revo's are a different configuration and are supposed to work well on X's. Hopefully I should have a couple of years more left on BFG's before I have to decide.

Have 90k Michelin on my Siverado CC,I've only got 32k on them & they need to be replaced.Granted ,Mich.is proratting them for half price$500.I think I should be getting $700 off the new ones,1/3 off like 1/3 of the milage rating.

The stock Michelins on my rover gave me 75k of the roughest miles I've ever driven. I think if I ran over a dime I could have told you if it was heads or tails. I'll never put michelins on anything I own again.

I used to have Yok's M/T's on my old '79 Bronco. I liked 'em a lot but they didn't last near as long as some of the other tire brands I used on the same vehicle.

I had 60k Michelins on my Lexus and ran them for 88k miles before the dealer said they needed replacement... best tires I've ever owned.  I replaced with an 80k set and only got about 45k before they started cupping.  As with most things, there are good and there are bad.  However, I just replaced them with another set of new Michelins.  The difference could be that I ran nitrogen in the first set, not in the second.  Much less susceptible to temperature and its related impacts on the tires.  I'm back to nitrogen in the tires... will see how these hold up.  While not a statistically significant test, I have no comparative data for the second set of tires, I will make note of the wear patterns.  Nitrogen in tires is a great idea, just tough to find.

I have Bridgestone Dualer AT on my truck they are a bit noisy but I got in on the dealers "tires for Life" deal so as long as I pay to rotate them every 3K  chevrolet dealer pays for the tires.
