HOWDY
I signed on to this board for the abundant experience I witnessed while reading the posts.Excellent
There are a number of questions I would like to ask and the first concerns a spotting scope I purchased through the Redfield "Buy Back" program.
I had a number of older Redfield rifle scopes that were pretty much used up.
When I found out about the "Buy Back" program I did a deal for the Rampage Spotting Scope.
I was told the glass was Japanese and the price was right.
As it has turned out I cannot see .30 cal holes in the black at 200 meters.
When I focus the scope the target goes off the left and not straight back into focus.
I contacted Redfield and will be visiting Beaverton OR.  next week.
Could the fact the scope does not focus properly account for the lack of clarity at 200/M??
The Rampage is a 20/60x60 and I think it should be clearer than this.
Any advise is welcome and ThanksBig Grin

Sounds like a lemon.  The image should stay centered during magnification changes.  That could definitely affect performance, because there is some problem in the assembly of components.

Hopefully Redfield (Leupold) takes care of you.
