OK boys and girls... After much deliberation and head scratching I've decided an iPod/iPhone version of Terminal Velocity could work out. Please remember I'm giving up that big, beautiful screen, so some of the graphics will either be smaller or MIA... Basic functions will remain, and of course the same database of cartridges, bullets and scopes will remain.
Please remember this is the pre-rifle purchase app. Use this to save yourself big Buck$ while planning your rifle to kill that big Buck.
I see there are a couple apps for iPhone out there already for a "Field Firing Solution", however I think WE can build a better one. The ones I saw are great for most shooters, but is missing some important "fine tuning" options we can put into a new app. This would be a "companion" application for Terminal Velocity.
Interest? Before putting all my spare time for the new several months into this I want to guage interest. Let me know if these interest you enough to purhcase wjen complete.
Thanks,
Jeff

I'm interested! What would you consider a fair price for the iphone/ipod touch App?--Bboy623

Mmmmmm... It will depend a bit, but I'm thinking $6.99 or there abouts. That's about 1/2 of the iPad app.
Thoughts?

Geez, for what you're putting into it I'd pay $10-12 easily. You can always run a special to drum up interest.

You would Bboy... HA! Just kidding!
I have this posted at my only other favorite site, Snipers Hide... Seems there is more interest in writing a Field Firing Solution than the iPad redo...
I need more feedback though... that is a ton of work guys!

After all, I ended up giving up on Android and getting an iPhone 4.
If you make your application for iPhone, I will definitely get it. ILya

But - I would use a field firing solution a lot more often, to be fair. So if I had to choose, I would go for Field Firing.

I would probably get it for my ipod touch. Sounds like a good app.

Thanks helo... it is a cool app for sure. We used it a while back and saved my neighbor about $175.00 on an angled base he did not need. It was nice to be able to check specs before spending the $$ (OK, a trade really) for the Hensoldt I got last month.
A iPod touch / iPhone version won't be as "pretty" mind you. Hard to craem the graphics form the iPad's large screen into such a small one...
