Any chance of dropping the price on the 6.5-20X50 Viper with the BDC recticle? This is the one I really want.

Otherwise, I am torn between the 6.5-20X44 Vplex or the 6.5-20X50 Target dot with the larger objective lense, someone help me make the choice...

Long range sniping, I am afraid the target dot will hurt the precision slightly but I like the larger objective lense for the better low light performance.

sniping on varmints?  or paper?  I'm assuming the first.  I think the 44 with the plex would be fine,  you can get it closer to the bore and there isn't going to be much difference in low light.  Especially trying to see that tiny dot in low light with the 50 obj vs the plex on the 44 obj

I already have a Burris PEPR mount, so I'm sure it'll work with the 50mm objective lense.

It will I have a 2.5x10x50 Crossfire in a pepr on mine.  But the target dot will not show up well at all in the low light you talk about.  I think the 44 obj is the best of the two when you talk about low light and the reticles in both

Varmits, paper, both. I already have the vplex on backorder but I wanted to make sure I made the best choice. I've got a Bushnell Holosight for close-up use, a Leatherwood CMR 1-4 for all around use, I just wanted to round out my collection with the best long range option for the $$.

Ok, thanks. I think I'll stick with the Vplex, I just hope they hurry up and ship it before I change my mind again. I would have had the same problem as steelbenz since I had the Crossfire 6-24X50 on backorder and when the Vipers came on sale, I couldn't resist the chance for an upgrade. When I called to change the order, the lady told me that the crossfire was going to be in the next day, so I was glad I was able to change my order before it shipped.

We are charged from the credit card companies for having to refund a card. If you want to do this there would be a restock fee for the one you sent back.

What if I took through the scope pictures of each scope? You could get a pretty good idea of the actual reticle.

Ok the first two are the 2-7BDC on 2x and 7x. The next two are a 3.5-10x50 on 3.5x and 7X. We don't have the 2-7BDC in stock for the pics. As far as strictly comparing the reticles it doesn't matter.
